Most perfectionism is driven by FEAR

Fear of failure
Fear of success
Fear Not being enough
Fear of Abandonment
Fear of Rejection

Fear driven perfectionism either prevents action or makes you overdo actions. From a nervous system perspective, that’s hypo or hyper arousal. This is what the overachiever to burnout pipeline looks like, as well as the procrastination to shame pipeline.

When fear rules your everyday choices, do you think that’s healthy? Perfectionism mainly driven by fears has long term consequences on how sustainable your thoughts and behaviors are. You’re likely not able to pace and sustain, but rather frequently spike and crash.

Much of WHY perfectionist characteristics show up is because of survival mode; you either implicitly develop behaviors and thoughts due to survival or explicitly were told certain things based on others being in survival (parents, caregivers, friends, etc.)

In this bootcamp, we're investigating the 4 perfectionism archetypes, developing better understanding of how these archetypes manifest, and learning how to move forward.

You'll walk away with a deeper understanding of

  • your perfectionism archetype
  • the behaviors, thoughts, and attitudes in the way of your success
  • the way to healing
